An Escape Room is a themed room in which a group of players solve a series of puzzles using clues and physical props found during the game to “escape” the room in a set period of time.
No. Players can exit a game at any time. The “escape” is won by solving all puzzles and completing the escape room’s mission/objective.
All players must be at least 8 years of age to participate in our escape rooms. Players between the ages of 8 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult is a paid participant that counts towards the maximum number of players allowed in the escape room. No children under 8 years of age are permitted in any of our escape rooms. This policy includes infants and toddlers in carriers or strollers.
Players 8 years and older can participate in all escape rooms but we strongly recommend that players be at least 13 years of age to participate in The Doll Shop escape room.
All minor players, younger than 18 years of age, must have an adult parent/legal guardian sign a waiver and release agreement on their behalf. The agreement link is provided in the confirmation email following booking.

No. All games at Timebox Escape are completely private. No additional bookings will be added to your game. We want to make sure you have a quality and fun time with your friends, co-workers or loved ones.
All rooms vary in theme and level of complexity to appeal to varying escape artists. Please see the room descriptions for difficultly level. Timebox Gamemasters are with you throughout your game to offer you as much or as little assistance as you need. Our goal is to ensure you have a fun and safe experience.

Note that our escape rooms incorporate various special effects to enhance the immersive experience. Expedition Egypt has dark lighting for considerations should that be a concern.

Yes. Our Gamemasters will provide all safety rules prior to your game start. All games are also under camera and software surveillance for added security.
All bookings are final and no refunds will be issued. However, for flexibility customers can reschedule a booking at least 48 hours prior to the start of their scheduled game. Please review the booking availability schedule and contact us to reschedule.
Yes. We offer a 15% military discount that includes active duty military personnel and veterans. The military member must book the room and be a player. The discount applies to all members in the booking up to six players. A valid Government issued military ID must be presented upon arrival for the discount to be applied and refunded in-store.

Timebox Escape follows the firearm policy established by The Falls Mall. No firearms or weapons, concealed or otherwise, are authorized on mall property or inside Timebox Escape. Players in violation of this policy will be asked to leave. No refunds will be issued.
We do not authorize cell phones, shopping bags, purses, backpacks, food or beverages in any of our escape rooms. Complimentary lockers are available to secure all personal items.
We do not authorize cell phones or cameras in our rooms. Photos and videos of our escape rooms are not permitted. However, we do take a complimentary team photo that is emailed following the game.
